The Revenant @ No. 1 for 2nd Week in Ireland

So The Revenant holds onto the Number one spot with Ride Along 2 behind it.

In Ireland we have a number of super cinemas although these are few and far between. Most Irish towns have a smaller cinema and I think some form of major investment is needed to bring this bang up to date. According to the IFTE.ie website there is around 415 cinemas in Ireland, but going by the table below the big films are hitting only 69 screens max. So that is lets say 70 screen that are deemed worthy enough to show blockbuster film in Ireland…. shockingly low amount.

In any case after that little rant we can see that The Revenant has taken just over €1m  in total and €300k this last week.  See the trailer below.
