School Nativity play on the way

Cannot wait as it’s the highlight of the year for the little kiddies looking to shine on stage.

I love xmas, I think it’s well known to be honest I am the biggest kid ever, One thing I really enjoy is the school nativity play and carols in the local church. ┬áthe primary school kids all file in and the junior/senior infants dress up and the upper year’s recreate the nativity play. ┬áThe church is always jammed to standing room only and the atmosphere is just so nice and it really sets up xmas for the family. this year is Liam’s first as he was very sick last year so as he has just got over anything illness hopefully he will be dressed as a shepherd and singing his little heart out.

I am so glad that in Ireland we are not scrapping these festive events like the UK has done a few times ( see here) To be honest I cannot really see Ireland doing this given it’s such a large catholic community and there would be such a massive outcry it just would not happen.
